It has been a winding but exciting road into the world of voice over! I first discovered voice over in high school when I started to listen to audiobooks (cassette tapes were still a thing). I enjoyed acting and performing music live but was a born adventurer so the road took me to various destinations before I realized that I would love to be a part of the voice over world.
After graduating from Gonzaga University I entered the insurance business where I was successful for over three years and learned important skills that still serve me well in both life and voice over. However, ready for a new adventure and feeling it was important to do my part in a growing conflict, I entered the US Army which is engaging, enlightening, and challenging.
It has taken me on unbelievable journeys, both literally and figuratively. I have learned a great deal; including extensive medical training, chinese mandarin, and a range of other skills, but it has also often taken me far from the people I love.
My life as a soldier and the love of my children truly taught me to appreciate the ephemeral nature of life and the importance of providing my children something beyond an insurance policy.
I could at least leave my kids with my voice. Originally just an audiobook enthusiast, musician, and professional soldier; I began training in voiceover, character voices, and narration over five years ago. Bed time stories got a lot more fun! On the journey to create fun and memorable recordings for my children, I developed even more passion for the world of voiceover.
I built a custom studio and honed my voice and production skills. I am passionate about learning, developing myself in every respect, and consistently pushing myself to perform at the limits of my potential. I try to instill these passions in everyone around me and I want to share that passion with you here.
